A few months later, we were out celebrating at a neighborhood bar with friends. With a well-timed question from a close friend, we made official what we already knew. We were inseparable, and putting it into words simply confirmed what had long felt true.

A few weeks passed, and Kristine stayed over one night at Stephen’s apartment in DUMBO and never really left. Being together felt easier than being apart, and he made space for her in every sense, giving her three of his five drawers, a desk, and a home that quickly felt like ours.

Our First Trip AbroadMarch 7, 2023
Our first trip abroad took us to the Cayman Islands. Between exploring by car, snorkeling, and long evenings watching the sunset, everything felt easy, natural, and like something we wanted to keep doing together.
The Proposal
January 30, 2025That winter, the skating rink beneath the Brooklyn Bridge became our place. On one last visit before the season ended, Kristine was teaching Stephen how to stop while skating when he got down on one knee and asked the question. It was unexpected; it felt like the perfect ending to a place that had meant so much to them.
